Q: How would a dog park be funded?
A: Private donations and grants would be required to cover the cost of building and maintaining the dog park. No town funds or tax dollars would be used.
Q: Where would the dog park be located?
A: The committee has reviewed over 20 potential locations in Peterborough, taking into consideration factors such as proximity to downtown, size and ownership of parcel, terrain, parking, zoning, proximity to homes, noise, environmental sensitivity, safety for dogs and people, and accessibility for all users. No location has been chosen at this point.
